About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Merchandising to join our team at Rona Inc. This is a key role that will be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on merchandising projects for our Rona affiliate network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure effective project execution
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for each project
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Create and maintain tools and documents to support project management
  • Conduct market analyses to identify trends and opportunities
  • Monitor competitors' activities and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Develop and deliver training for internal teams and affiliate dealers
  • Prepare analytical reports and monitor project performance
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in retail, merchandising, or marketing
  • Experience in merchandising and category management is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business administration, communications, project management)
  • Strong initiative, attention to detail, and informal leadership skills
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work independently
  • Organizational, results-oriented approach, and customer experience focus
  • Ability to identify problems, make recommendations, and implement strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
