About the Role:
Higher Talent Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead its team of professionals in delivering medical education and healthcare services in international settings and local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Oversee the organization's diverse operations and shape the strategy and approach to fulfilling the organization's purpose.
- Community Engagement: Act as the organization's lead spokesperson for community engagements, media outreach, and events. Proactively develop outreach opportunities for the organization and advocate on behalf of the charity and its beneficiaries to bring attention to community and international health issues and support medical care and education.
- Risk Management: Working with the Board of Directors and committees to provide risk management of the organization's undertakings. Identify, assess, monitor and limit risk exposure.
- Relationship Building: Maintaining strong relationships with all funders, colleagues, affiliated organizations, stakeholders and community partners.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of progressive leadership at a senior level.
- University degree in business or public administration, international development, health administration, global affairs or a health profession.
- Previous experience as an Executive Director in the nonprofit sector would be an asset.
- Experience in healthcare administration or healthcare operations would be an asset.
- Experience in fundraising, proposal writing, grant applications and social enterprise.
- Knowledge of good board governance practices and risk management.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
