Job Summary:

Nova Pastry & Bakery is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive business growth. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced professional who can lead by example and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Plan and organize daily operations, including setting staff work schedules and supervising staff
- Train staff and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service
- Organize and maintain inventory, negotiate arrangements with suppliers, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a management role
- Computer and technology knowledge, including point of sale systems
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate staff
- Cuisine specialties in Portuguese
