Logistics Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping/receiving processes. Reporting to the Process Supervisor/Logistics Supervisor/General Manager, this individual will be responsible for inputting production runs into our Management Information System (MIS) in a timely and accurate manner, noting special instructions on customers' incoming paperwork.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate customer truck traffic to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods.
- Oversee the proper handling of designated samples for lab testing, including retrieval, documentation, and shipping.
- Manage all Federal Express and UPS shipping, receiving, distribution, reports, and supply replenishment.
- Train and supervise Shipping/Receiving personnel to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure the tagging and proper storage of customer product.
- Generate Bills of Lading and ensure all customer shipping documentation requirements are complete.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
**Supervision and Leadership**
- Oversee the work of others to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years working in Shipping/Receiving.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
- Proficient in using a computer and analyzing data in a database/spreadsheet.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
**Training and Development**
- Must complete all required training for a Logistics Coordinator outlined in the training manual.
**Compensation**
- $25 - $28 CAD per hour, depending on experience.
