Logistics Operations Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping/receiving processes. Reporting to the Process Supervisor/Logistics Supervisor/General Manager, this individual will be responsible for inputting production runs into our Management Information System (MIS) in a timely and accurate manner, noting special instructions on customers' incoming paperwork.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate customer truck traffic to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods.
- Oversee the proper handling of designated samples for lab testing, including retrieval, documentation, and shipping.
- Manage all Federal Express and UPS shipping, receiving, distribution, reports, and supply replenishment to meet business needs.
- Train and supervise Shipping/Receiving personnel to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of Bills of Lading and customer shipping documentation requirements.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor to support the overall success of the team.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of experience in Shipping/Receiving or a related field.
- Proficiency in using a computer and analyzing data in a database/spreadsheet.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
**Training and Development**
The successful candidate will be required to complete all necessary training for a Logistics Coordinator outlined in our training manual.
