Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is provided during peak periods.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Quesada Burritos & Tacos, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
