About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent oral communication and client-focused service.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
