We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The Victoria Keg Steakhouses-Fort St Location. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and presentation, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. You will be working closely with our head chef to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes served.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and organized. You will also be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and work areas, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.

Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years' experience as a cook or assistant chef in a similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits including dental and health care plans, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
