Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Laughing Loon Pub. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels and meet customer demand.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen operations and performance.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
