Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Laughing Loon Pub. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient kitchen schedules and workflows to meet our high standards of service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, including training and development.
- Oversee the requisitioning of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for our chef and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop our team members.
