Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Nguyen's Vietnamese Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and make informed decisions about menu pricing and food preparation methods.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they are meeting our high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies to increase customer traffic and sales.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer demands.
