Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

Megh Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Assign tasks and duties to sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Authorize payments, returns, and exchanges, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner, meeting company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and visual merchandising, to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and move around the store.
  • Occasionally required to lift, carry, and move merchandise.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and efficient in all tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
