Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

Megh Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign tasks and duties to sales staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize payments, manage inventory, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring they meet their responsibilities and contribute to the success of the store.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and have excellent attention to detail.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and efficient in all tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and organized, with a strong work ethic.
