As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning duties, and providing guidance and support to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff
* Assign sales workers to duties
* Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
* Authorize payments by cheque
* Order merchandise
* Authorize return of merchandise
* Establish work schedules
* Sell merchandise
* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
* Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
* Organize and maintain inventory
* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
* Oversee payroll administration
* Conduct performance reviews

Requirements:

* 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
* High school diploma or equivalent
