- Hire, supervise, and train employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work
- Establish and manage departmental budgets to achieve financial objectives
- Direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a focus on wood product manufacturing
- Proven track record of managing large teams (over 20 people)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
