Retail Store Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at MODERN SENSE FURNITURE INC.
Job Description:We are seeking an exceptional leader to manage the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring seamless execution of sales, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to motivate and train staff.
Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties effectively to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of new staff members to maintain high standards.
- Oversee merchandise ordering to ensure timely restocking and minimize stockouts.
- AUTHORIZE THE RETURN OF MERCHANDISE to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain healthy relationships.
- Establish work schedules that balance productivity with employee well-being.
- Sell merchandise through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform strategic decisions.
- Resolve issues promptly, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent overstocking and understocking.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve store objectives.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. They must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail while working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits packages that include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
