Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Ahmic Lake Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
