About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Quality Care Liaison to join our team at the First Nations Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality, culturally sensitive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate feedback across various healthcare settings, including acute care, residential services, mental health, public health, and community systems.
  • Pioneer the FNHA approach to transforming complaints and shaping the future of client/patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with First Nations communities and organizations to develop and implement culturally safe and effective care practices.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare providers on cultural safety and trauma-informed care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree in social sciences, health, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of recent, pertinent experience working with First Nations organizations and communities, preferably in the Vancouver Coastal Region.
  • Training in patient safety investigation and quality improvement, as well as cultural safety or trauma-informed care training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
