Job Summary

McLean Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a critical member of our security staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to routine and emergency calls for service, providing protective services to people and property.
  • Patrol McLean property and grounds, documenting all deficiencies and/or violations of policy.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the department, performing dispatch and/or console duties as assigned.
  • Provide escorts to patients, visitors, employees, and others to ensure their safety.
  • Perform access control functions, including enforcing McLean visitor policies and restrictions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma required; strong educational background preferred.
  • 1-3 years of security or related experience preferred.
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License required.
  • Must obtain and maintain required certification in CPR/AED/First Aid, CPI De-Escalation Training, and IAHSS Basic Officer Certification.
