We are seeking a Casual Renal Technician to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. As a Casual Renal Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of dialysis equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, monitor, test, dismantle, and clean dialysis-related equipment for patient treatments following established procedures.
- Provide general patient care activities under nursing supervision, as needed.
- Transport dialysis equipment to appropriate areas of the facilities for patient treatment and set up, if required.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dialysis equipment.
- Assist with mobilization and preparation of patients for dialysis, including transporting/escorting patients, assisting with weigh-in at scales, and taking blood pressures and pulse.
