We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

This casual position involves setting up, operating, and monitoring dialysis equipment for patient treatments, following established procedures.

As a Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for preparing dialysis equipment and supplies, transporting equipment to treatment areas, and assisting with patient mobilization and preparation.

You will also monitor and adjust equipment during dialysis, reporting any alarms to nursing staff, and assisting with patient care activities under nursing supervision.

This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed, and days of work and shift times may vary.

Typical duties of this position include:

  • Preparing dialysis equipment and supplies for patient treatment
  • Transporting dialysis equipment to treatment areas and setting up if required
  • Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling dialysis equipment
  • Assisting with patient mobilization and preparation for dialysis
  • Monitoring and adjusting equipment during dialysis
