We are seeking a skilled Renal Technician to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC. As a Renal Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of dialysis equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, monitor, test, dismantle, and clean dialysis-related equipment for patient treatments following established procedures.
Provide general patient care activities under nursing supervision according to unit demands.
Assist with mobilization and preparation of patients for dialysis, including transporting/escorting patients, assisting with weigh-in at scales, and taking blood pressures and pulse.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
