The Role

This Maintenance Helper position is ideal for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. As a member of our Facilities team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop your skills in maintenance and repair.

 

What You'll Need

  • Equivalent to a Grade 12 level of education at an Ontario Secondary school, and enrollment in a post-secondary program
  • Requires 1+ year of related experience
  • Ability to use a computer and mobile device for work order system, email, and training
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel
  • Demonstrated awareness of federal and provincial standards/codes related to maintenance and care of facilities
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a trades certification or license (asset)
  • Understanding of the proper and safe use of power tools and equipment
  • Valid provincial Driver's License
