Job Summary

As a highly skilled Application Administrator at BBA inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our digital work environment. This includes administrating electronic document management systems, collaboration applications from the Microsoft 365 suite, and other related tools. You will work closely with our Product Manager, Digital Work Environment, to support business analysts and serve as a liaison between business needs, proposed solutions, and application deployment. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and project activities associated with the applications, ensuring that changes and updates go into production, and updating documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for licence management, assigning security profiles and workflow.
Establish application performance indicators to optimize monitoring and ensure follow-up.
Work with other administrators to oversee infrastructure resources.
Ensure that changes and updates go into production.
Update documentation: environment architecture, user guides, application integration mapping, application administration and configuration manuals, etc.
Help assess efforts required for change requests and corrections.
Participate in designing and executing test plans (UAT), including functional, regression, performance and security tests.
Adapt and configure applications to meet business needs.
Manage application maintenance, upgrades and improvement plans.
Provide technical support to users based on the established escalation process.
Proactively manage supplier relationships and application development, including roadmaps and release notes.
Help create training materials for various groups about application use and support techniques.

Requirements

College diploma in computer science or industry-related experience.
Knowledge of scripting language.
Ability to create clear and concise documentation.
Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
Basic knowledge of networking, infrastructure, databases and N-tier architecture.
Basic understanding of cloud technologies, integration, orchestration setup, data flow management and other technologies.
Knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, Scrum or other practices.
Availability to work outside regular office hours, depending on needs and deployments.
Asset: experience with Power Platform integration and its components, as well as Logic Apps and others.
Asset: knowledge of a document management system.
Asset: experience in administering Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, Share Point and One Drive.
