Overview
The Yellowknife Veterinary Clinic and Boutique is seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to fill the role of Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant. This position requires strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, ensuring a positive experience at our clinic.
- Manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with the care and handling of animals, including preparing them for exams and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the waiting area, exam rooms, and boutique.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or related field an asset.
