This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of an other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field or equivalent experience.
You will be working in a dynamic environment where your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Handling, restraining, and caring for animals during treatment and surgical procedures.
- Assisting veterinarians before, during, and after surgical interventions.
- Preparing and administering medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian.
- Administering prescribed treatments and therapies.
- Identifying and counseling clients on animal health care needs.
- Performing routine dental procedures and assisting in animal dentistry.
- Providing nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
- Administering wound care and bandaging.
