Job Title: Dean of Business School at University of New Brunswick Saint John

Job Summary:

The Business Schools Association of Canada (BSAC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to serve as the Dean of the Business School at the University of New Brunswick Saint John. As a strategic leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth and development of the Business School, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting the institution's reputation as a leading provider of business education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Business School, aligning with the institution's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders, alumni, and other external partners to promote the Business School's reputation and advance its mission.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and achieving financial sustainability.
  • Collaborate with other departments and units within the institution to promote a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
  • Represent the Business School at national and international forums, promoting its reputation and advancing its interests.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a business school or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
