About the Role

We are seeking an E-Learning Innovator to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a key member of our education technology team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing online courses and simulation-based learning experiences for health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs and develop interactive digital courses using innovative educational tools and technology.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to create engaging learning activities.
  • Ensure educational activities meet accreditation standards and continue to improve course effectiveness based on learner feedback.
  • Manage multiple aspects of work simultaneously and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related discipline with 3 years of experience designing content in adult education.
  • Substantial knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, curriculum development, accessibility standards, and current learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to search, identify, and summarize relevant evidence, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time permanent position located at 1025 Queen Street West. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health and dental plan, pension plan, and generous vacation time.
