Job Opportunity

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a dedicated full-time, permanent Administrative Professional to join the team in outpatient Geriatric Mental Health Services (GMHS). This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with an inter-professional team and contribute to the smooth operation of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative/clerical support to physicians and clinicians to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Supporting clinic specialists in follow-up and coordination of clients requiring follow-up care.
  • Preparing documents and inter-programmatic correspondence.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries.
  • Maintaining office supplies, compiling data, and booking appointments.

Requirements:

  • A one-year Community College diploma in Office Administration or a related discipline.
  • Two years of secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably with Cerner I-CARE (PowerChart and Scheduling).

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary range of $45,000 to $65,000 per annum, based on location and qualifications.
