The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires N.B. & P.E.I. Division, Inc. is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2025.

As a respected not-for-profit provider of physical security services in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, the Commissionaires are committed to diversity, excellence, and social impact.

Reporting to the Board of Governors, you will oversee the strategic plan, drive business development, and steer the organization towards continued success.

This role offers a unique combination of strategic leadership, business growth, and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering on the social mandate by defining and executing the veteran strategy.
  • Identifying short and long-term strategies to modernize the social mandate.
  • Providing strategic financial leadership and responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Empowering and aligning the Senior Leadership Team in developing an operational plan that achieves strategic goals and objectives.
  • Setting the strategic market direction and guiding the company's trajectory.
  • Building strategic partnerships at the executive level to identify competitive advantages.
  • Overseeing the allocation of resources to support business development efforts.
  • Creating an environment that fosters innovation and enables the business development team to explore new ways to meet client needs.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education combined with at least 10 years of executive-level experience.
  • Understanding of the exigencies and unique challenges faced by military and RCMP communities.
  • Proven thought leadership with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and influence policy.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit governance, board relations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Results-oriented leader with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communicator with the confidence, conviction, and enthusiasm to inspire others.
  • Competence in both English and French is an asset.
  • Must be eligible for a Level 2 security clearance under Public Safety Canada's guidelines.
