EHS Specialist

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and systems that enhance environmental, health, and safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with operations and field service leaders to ensure EHS excellence and compliance.
- Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to minimize waste, emissions, and energy consumption.
- Manage EHS-related projects and ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and maintain EHS training programs and ensure all employees receive necessary training.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain EHS records and reports, including incident reports, safety data sheets, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards, including OSHA and ISO 9001:2015.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence peers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop solutions.
