About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dessert cafe, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, with the ability to work in a team and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player, and a strong work ethic.
