About the Role
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital member of our care team at Bethany Care Society. As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, their families, and volunteers. Your role will involve promoting a culture of resident-centered care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to establish and prioritize resident care plans.
- Accurately document resident care assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with Bethany policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences to advocate for resident choice and promote constructive caring relationships.
- Lead, develop, and coach employees to achieve a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Previous LPN experience is preferred.
- Active registration and good standing with CLPNA.
- Able to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
- Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Current CPR certification.
