CAE Flight Services is seeking a highly skilled Optimization Research Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mathematical programming models to optimize flight operations and improve decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop complex mathematical models to optimize flight operations and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using C++ and other programming languages.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mathematical programming and optimization techniques.
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in optimization solutions and mathematical programming.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical programming models, including LP/IP, network flow, graph theory, and large-scale optimization.
- Experience with C++ and other programming languages.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
