About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Tecsys Inc. As a key member of our Applications Team, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, configuration, testing, launch, and integration of efficient information technology systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Interact with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure design, integration, and quality expectations are met/exceeded.
  2. Contribute to estimating work effort, project sizing, and backlog breakdown into manageable stories.
  3. Develop strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  4. Play a key role in the transformation and enhancement of systems in a rapidly growing business with the objective of increasing efficiency and ultimately enhancing customer success.
  5. Analyze business requirements objectives and aid functional teams in configuring business systems and processes to meet business needs.
  6. Create system design/configuration proposals.
  7. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
  8. Work as an integral part of the Applications Team – coordinating activities with VP IT and working effectively with colleagues of all levels and across the various functional areas of the business.

Requirements:

  1. Strong problem-solving skills.
  2. Experience examining business processes and systems, modeling data, organizing activities, and developing business process strategies.
  3. Proven Business Analyst experience with large-scale ERP applications.
  4. Strong communication skills. This position requires the candidate to be able to seamlessly and precisely communicate with technical teams, project managers as well as senior business leadership – written and verbally.
  5. Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and be detail-oriented.
  6. Proficient in collaborative group development, and a team player.
  7. Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues.

  1. Experience with ServiceNow CSM and ITSM modules.
  2. Broad understanding of accounting principles and financial applications.
  3. Agile development experience is an asset.
