Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Merchandiser - Brand Ambassador to join our Western Commercial team in Winnipeg. This role will involve building and supporting relationships with key customers, ensuring brilliant execution, and promoting quality products. The ideal candidate will possess great communication and time management skills, be driven for success, and have a passion for quality beer.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, business partners, industry associations, government, and suppliers through effective communication and rapport-building.
  2. Brilliant Execution: Ensure that product standards are met by building rapport and providing support to customers.
  3. Point-of-Sale Material Installation/Replacement: Install, replace, or update point-of-sale materials (racks, price cards, display units, semi-permanent displays, permanent displays, etc.) according to prior agreements or brand strategies.
  4. Display Setup: Set up displays as previously negotiated at head office or store level, ensuring current point-of-sale material is visible.
  5. Distribution and Rotation: Ensure Molson products are in full distribution based on store/head office compliance, rotate products, and check code dates to prevent expired products from being sold.
  6. Pricing Compliance: Verify pricing accuracy and correct any discrepancies.
  7. Competitive Activity Monitoring: Observe and record competitive activity, reporting accordingly.
  8. Product Quality Management: Ensure product quality in assigned accounts, identifying and addressing issues such as out-of-code products, torn packaging, etc.
  9. Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of all point-of-sale materials from the Molson Coors warehouse.
Requirements
  1. Post-Secondary Degree: A post-secondary degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
  2. Experience: 1-2 years of merchandising or sales experience in the Molson organization or other consumer packaged goods organizations.
  3. Driver's License: Possess and maintain a provincial valid driver's license in good standing with no limitations/restrictions.
  4. Criminal Background Check: Be willing to provide consent for a criminal background check and provide a driver's abstract as part of the recruitment process.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
