Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and fragrance launches, aligning with timelines and targets
  • Report POS results to management, brand, and retailer partners on an ongoing basis
  • Analyze feedback and performance of promotional programs to enhance sales potential
  • Address market opportunities and challenges proactively to maintain competitive positioning
  • Understand fragrance consumer purchasing behavior
  • Work closely with sales teams to equip merchandising groups and field teams with the tools needed for instore execution of planogram updates
  • Review and optimize planogram performance to maximize sales for fragrance lines across multiple retailers
  • Influence brand strategies by identifying new product, pricing, and packaging trends, alongside competitive risks tailored to the Canadian fragrance market
  • Communicate key insights from retail, field, and consumer to Management and Brand partners
  • Manage multiple project priorities to ensure fragrance launches stay on track
  • Utilize industry data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks within the fragrance category
  • Conduct regular competitive studies and market visits, sharing insights with management, brand partners, and sales teams
  • Document pricing strategies and manage price lists for fragrance retailers
  • Oversee the internal fragrance item creation process
  • Prepare business reviews for management meetings
  • Produce accurate reports, status updates, detailed competitive activity grids, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations for the assigned fragrance brand(s)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Fragrances, CPG or related fields
  • Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Adobe Suites
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Appreciated previous titles: Project Manager, Product Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Category Manager
