About the Role:

The AFP Golden Horseshoe Chapter seeks an experienced Digital Content and Community Brand Manager to join its marketing team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing, this role will develop clear and compelling content consistent with the Foundation brand to inspire philanthropy and drive engagement across digital and traditional channels and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage, and develop content for OHF's social media platforms and website.
  • Design and develop event websites and microsites using WordPress and other platforms.
  • Manage the online peer-to-peer fundraising platform.
  • Write and oversee the creation of content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials.
  • Collaborate across foundation departments to amplify fundraising campaigns, ideas, and initiatives through communication and marketing tactics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing insights and performance reports to the team, board, and stakeholders to inform future strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and current/emerging technology.
  • Demonstrated experience creating content for, and managing, corporate social media channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for a broad audience.
  • An eye for compelling visuals and knowledge of and experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva).
  • Experience editing video with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable software considered a plus.
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree program in Marketing or Communications or a related discipline (a mix of education and experience in a related field will be considered as well).

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, 18-month contract. The Oakville Hospital Foundation offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Non-traditional hours, including evening and/or weekend commitments, are sometimes required.
