Senior Vice President, Risk Management Framework Lead

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to lead the Risk Management Framework team. As a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, you will be responsible for designing and driving enhancements to the firm's risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Frameworks: Design and implement risk management frameworks that align with the firm's risk management principles and external expectations.
- Drive Ownership and Accountability: Drive ownership and accountability for implementing policies and processes that align with the ERM framework and meet external expectations.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on the consistent application of the ERM principles in business-as-usual risk management.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional risk and first-line units to identify linkages between different aspects of the ERM framework and drive faster decision-making.
- Identify and Remediate Gaps: Identify gaps in the risk management frameworks and recommend remediations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Influence Outcomes: Influence outcomes across 1LOD and 2LOD by providing credible challenge on implementation and adherence to the ERM framework.
- Enhance Documentation and Presentations: Continuously enhance documentation and presentations on the connectivity of principles and standards across policies and processes throughout the risk management lifecycle.
- Prepare Materials for Senior Management: Prepare materials for senior management and Board-level committee discussions.
- Participate in Senior Management Discussions: Participate in senior management discussions on behalf of the team relating to the ERM framework.
- Support Transformation Activities: Support the execution of transformation activities.
- Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Ability to critically think and make decisions in high-risk scenarios, appropriately assessing a situation based on available data, experience, intuition, and judgment.
- Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work well under pressure.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating risk issues, strength in sustaining autonomous views.
- Interface with Management: Ability to interface with various levels of management in Global/Region/Business and across functions.
- Technical Skills: Advanced technical skills such as project management and Microsoft Office.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred.
- Adaptability: Prior experience in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adaptability.
- Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
