Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Law team, you will provide exceptional support to our legal professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage time, resources, and workflow to ensure efficient delivery of tasks and projects
  • Coordinate and maintain filing systems, conflict searches, and other file-opening processes
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of time and expense reports
  • Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including answering phone calls, making travel arrangements, and photocopying documents
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
  • College diploma in a legal assistant program or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional business law environment
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
