About the Role

Quartech is a leading provider of IT solutions and consulting services, seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our consulting environment, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects for our public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for client relationships, ensuring successful delivery of technology projects.
  2. Project Management: Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and quality, aligning with client expectations and industry standards.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  5. Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, assigning work, mentoring, and allocating resources effectively.
  6. Performance Measurement: Monitor and report project performance, taking proactive action to maintain project momentum.
  7. Escalation Management: Effectively receive and resolve project escalations, directing corrective actions as needed.
  8. Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to Quartech and client process standards, maintaining compliance throughout the project.
Requirements
  1. Education: University degree or college diploma in computer science or business administration, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of project management experience, with 10+ years of recent experience delivering IT solutions.
  3. Agile Experience: 5+ years of experience working on Agile and Scrum projects.
  4. Team Management: 5+ years of experience managing project teams of 3+ members.
  5. Client Management: Previous experience managing clients in a consulting environment.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working for a provincial government is considered an asset.
  7. Certifications: Project Management Certification and Scrum Master Certification, or other methodology certifications, are an asset.
  8. Skills: Exceptional stakeholder and vendor management skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
