Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Bar Manager to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of our Gas Bar, ensuring consistent and profitable operations while continually improving our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the Gas Bar in alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, image standards, financial management, and safety and asset protection.
  • Ensure consistent and profitable operations, with a focus on continually improving our services.
  • Purchase and market convenience store merchandise, and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Coach team members, provide day-to-day direction and guidance, including performance management, training, and development.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulations, Company, H&S, Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Represent our values of Integrity, Commitment, and Responsibility.
Requirements
  • You have completed Grade 12.
  • You have 6-9 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • You have 3+ years of experience leading a medium-sized department.
  • You're familiar with developing departmental goals and strategies to achieve them.
  • You're comfortable leading a team and providing day-to-day direction and guidance.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
