Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lesson Coordinator/Sales and Rentals Associate at Long & McQuade. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in finding the right musical instruments and gear to meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Provide product demonstrations and recommendations to customers
  • Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store maintenance to create an inviting shopping environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must be a musician with a strong passion for music and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Proven customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in music or a related field an asset
