Job Title: Lesson Coordinator/Sales and Rentals Associate


At Long & McQuade, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lesson Coordinator/Sales and Rentals Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in helping our customers find the perfect musical instruments and gear to suit their needs.


Key Responsibilities:


• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable


• Develop a deep understanding of our products, including musical instruments, gear, and accessories


• Collaborate with customers to identify their individual needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations


• Demonstrate products to customers, highlighting their features and benefits


• Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to customers


• Follow up on product orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise


• Utilize your musical expertise to troubleshoot and solve customer problems, providing solutions that meet their needs


• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, policies, and procedures, staying up-to-date on new developments and trends


• Participate in weekly staff meetings and periodic training sessions to stay informed and aligned with company goals


• Contribute to the merchandising of our store, creating an inviting and engaging environment for customers


• Assist with store maintenance, warehouse duties, and other related tasks as needed


Requirements:


• Must be a musician with a strong passion for music and a willingness to share that passion with others


• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weeknights, and weekends


• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues


• Positive attitude, steady composure, and a strong work ethic


• High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner


• Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively


• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset, but not required
