Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Donor Experiences to join our team at ROME GROUP. As a key member of our Principal Gifts team, you will play a critical role in supporting the university's leadership initiatives and developing strategic plans to engage and steward donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the university's leadership initiatives in conjunction with the Office of the Chancellor.
  • Develop and implement highly personalized donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship strategies.
  • Assist in planning innovative, creative, and individually-tailored multimedia donor stewardship activities, events, and campus visits.
  • Perform on-site event execution and some event-related travel.
  • Assist with comprehensive briefing materials to prepare university leadership for events and programs with principal gift prospects and donors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant experience (3 years).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience, sensitivity, and diplomacy in high-level relationship-building and strategies involved in securing complex gifts.
  • Ability to digest and effectively communicate complex academic content to lay audiences.
  • Sound judgement and demonstrated experience dealing with sensitive and confidential data in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility to take on new assignments as needed and deal with ambiguity as new programs and paradigms emerge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, frequently problem solving for others' projects and prospects as well as working on assigned projects.
