Senior Development Director for Jesuit Programs

The Rome Group seeks a seasoned Senior Development Director to lead the advancement of our Jesuit programs in the USA Central and Southern Province. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and drive fundraising growth across the region.

**Job Summary:**

This role requires a strategic leader with experience in developing and implementing successful advancement plans, growing major donor relationships, and managing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Catholic faith principles, a passion for the Jesuits' mission, and excellent communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy to increase funding for Jesuit programs and ministries.
  • Foster strong relationships with major donors, Jesuit priests and brothers, and other stakeholders to secure significant gifts.
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced development professionals to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on donor interactions, gifts, and campaign progress.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in senior development roles, leading high-performing teams and achieving significant fundraising results.
  • Proven track record of successfully soliciting six-figure and greater gifts.
  • Experience with Blackbaud donor database management and ability to educate donors about the unique role of the USA Central and Southern Province.
  • Abiding commitment to the Jesuits' mission, charism, and core values.

**What We Offer:
