Job Summary:

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a highly skilled Truck Shop Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance of tractor trailers. The successful candidate will provide guidance and direction to staff members, prioritize work orders, and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise repair and maintenance operations to ensure proper repair, safety, and performance of tractor trailers.
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff members assigned to Fleet Maintenance.
  • Prioritize work orders and assign appropriate shop staff.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship from Technicians and Apprentices.
  • Maintain vehicle records and repair data in the fleet management software program.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry-related experience.
  • Completion of college/vocational school or technical training.
  • Class A Mechanic's License as an asset but not essential.
  • Red Seal Certification as an asset but not essential.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
