Truck Shop Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Shop Supervisor to oversee the repair and maintenance activities of our tractor trailers, ensuring proper repair, safety, and performance.
As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance and direction to our staff members assigned to Fleet Maintenance, prioritize work orders, and assign appropriate shop staff. Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality workmanship, ensuring excellent time management skills, and making analytical decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to Fleet Maintenance staff members.
- Prioritize work orders and assign shop staff effectively.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and excellent time management skills.
- Maintain accurate vehicle records and repair data in our fleet management software program.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and productivity within the shop.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-related experience.
- Completion of college/vocational school or technical training.
- Class A Mechanic's License as an asset but not essential.
- Red Seal Certification as an asset but not essential.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
