Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electrical Engineer II to join our Power & Manufacturing - Generation & Energy Management Team located in St. This role will support the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products or changes to existing schemes to suit individual client needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to meet client requirements.
- Aid in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for various engineering tasks.
- Develop and maintain a familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the firm's and client's practices, procedures, and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
- Demonstrates a good working knowledge of the respective engineering field and proven ability to apply it in a professional environment.
- Good working knowledge of electrical codes (IEEE, NEC, NFPA, CSA, OESC).
- Familiar with QA/QC procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences.
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required.
- Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 CAD per year. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
