As an Electrical Engineering Designer II on our Power & Manufacturing – Generation & Energy Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects that promote environmental stewardship and community development.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to assist with the research, preparation, and creation of construction drawings, documents, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical engineering discipline standards, codes, and systems, as well as experience with drawing production software such as AutoCAD.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing simple or routine contract drawings, and attain knowledge of engineering discipline standards, codes, and systems through assisting with contract document preparation.
  • Examine contract documents or drawings for errors and use drawing production software to create construction documents.

In this role, you will collaborate with design teams on multiple projects, working in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual, and company requirements. You will also develop your ability to independently establish contract drawings and contribute to the success of our team.

Your Qualifications
  • An Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma (or equivalent) or Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of document production experience in the related engineering discipline is required.
  • Proficiency with discipline-based software, AutoCAD, is required.
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge about the respective engineering discipline.
  • A strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment is required.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
